ABout me
I All my life, I wanted to be a teacher. I wanted to work with children and make a difference in their lives. My family has many teachers in it, so deciding to pursue a teaching career was an easy and early decision in my life.
I grew up in Concord and then attended The Master's University in Santa Clarita, CA. There, I earned my BA in Liberal Arts-Teacher Education and a multiple subject credential. I then earned my MA in Educational Technology and Design through Regent University and love to use technology in the classroom when appropriate with students.
I began my teaching career in Oakley USD and taught TK for 2 years. I was privileged to start my journey at "The View" last year as a first grade teacher. It was a wonderful year and I am excited to be teaching first grade again. It is a privilege to work with such a dedicated staff and supportive community! I feel so fortunate to be in this profession doing what I love, and strive to work with parents to create an enriching environment that will instill a lifelong love of learning in each child.
Thank you for entrusting your children to me. I look forward to a wonderful year full of new adventures and growth with our class!
Warmly,
Miss Vowels
